IAAPA FAQ on the Bidding Process

1.  Q:  Exactly what am I allowed to bid?
     A:  You may bid AA guns, IC's, any land/air/sea unit, or cash.

     Q:  Can I bid technology rolls?
     A:  No.  You may not bid 3 tech rolls valued at $15.

    Q:  Where am I allowed to place bid units?
    A:  You may place bid land or air units only in your original 
territories.  You may only place sea units in a sea zone that is adjacent to 
one of your original territories that is free of any enemy shipping.

     Q:  Can I place a bid Japanese transport in the a "neutral" sea zone, 
such as the South Pacific sea zone?
     A:  No, as the South Pacific is not adjacent to a Japanese territory.

     Q:  Can I place a German infantry in Manchuria?
     A:  No, as Manchuria is not an original German territory.
