Greetings to everyone;

Here are some of the things that I would like to focus on if I am elected, in no particular order:

1) Local Chapters (and chapter kits)

It is a good way to generate interest in IAAPA and Axis & Allies in general. Since their inception, not much has been done to promote them.

2) Promotion in general

I would like to print off posters and cards to send to any members who would be willing to go to local gaming stores. This also ties in to point 1). This will help generate more interest in Axis & Allies, as well as creating more potential members. As well, I would like to find someone to search the web for various search engines or web pages that we could register with.

3) Interclub play and communication

I felt both the recent IAAPA-DAAK and the PBEM vs CDROM were great tournaments. I think that tourneys like these help bring the clubs together, and promote players to try out the other clubs. Furthermore, I would like to have a more open communication with the other clubs. I have seen in the past that some clubs became down right hostile with one another. This hurts the A&A community as a whole.

4) Government

I would like to talk to each member of government to discuss what their plans and goals are for their position. This will then be detailed to the membership in the first Revue. This way our membership will know the direction with which our government is heading. It will also be useful in determining if there are more positions that are needed, or if there are some that are no longer needed.

5) CD-ROM

As I've stated before, we need to either get a working system going, or CD-ROM play will be dead.

6) Burnout

This will be in conjunction with 4). I think there are person(s) in the government who are handling more than their fair share of the load. I would like to find some ways to reduce the load on these people before they become fatigued.

7) Dice Server

First off, I have no question about the randomness of the dice server. There are changes to the Dice Roller that I would like to see, just to improve the handling and looks of it.
