** TOURNAMENT ORGANISATION **

Tournament Master: Jochen (GroeFaz). Liason for participants via the contact address

Records: Warren (RedDwarf). Responsible for posting tournament information and results on the web site.

Minister of Law: John (JohnPin569). Judges all inquiries and game disputes sent to him via the Tournament Master

Adjudication: Pete (Boromir) delegates games for adjudication to the judging panels and reports the result


** THE RIVAL TEAMS **

IAAPA (International Axis & Allies Players Association)

DAAK (Deutscher Axis & Allies Klub)


** METHOD OF PLAY **

Participants are to use the following PBEM method:

1. If the attacker wants to roll for weapons development he will send his opponent an e-mail stating the number of technology rolls he desires. Any weapons successfully developed will take effect immediately.

2. The attacker will then send a pre-combat turn indicating any successful weapons development, the remainder of his purchases, and all combat moves.

3. The attacker will then go to the dice server and resolve combat according to the Milton Bradley 2nd Edition and, where applicable IAAPA rules.

4. The attacker will then send a final e-mail indicating the results of combat, his non-combat moves, a map update (This is a text list that contains all territories that said country has units in and/or possesses) and also an IPC/territory chart.

** TOURNAMENT FORMAT **

Both clubs will list their players in ranking order (determined by their own respective ranking systems)

The highest ranked player of each club's list will play each other, the second ranked players will be paired and so on until all players have been matched in this way.

Each player will play one game only and will receive for their club, 2pts for a win, nothing for a loss.

In the event of a tie after all games have been completed the club with the victories wins as the Axis side will be declared the winning club.

** ADJUDICATION **

Each game has a three month time limit.

If a game exceeds the time limit then a panel of three judges will examine the game and determine by vote which side they believe to be in the winning position once the vote is in the 2 points will be awarded to the players club total.

The Tournament Master will send out impending adjudication notices to all pairings that look likely of exceeding the time limit.
